When you upload a scoresheet there is an option to upload an image of the original document, PDF or JPEG etc.
Would be good if you could get into the habit of doing this as it means there can be no dispute over scores if the original scoreheet is available online.
You can now view these scoresheet images on the Results page by clicking the small Camera icon next to View Scoresheet.
No camera icon means no uploaded image.
We continue to make functionality changes and improvements to the website, any suggestions gratefully received and will be considered.
- League tables now ordered by highest score first in descending order
- Reports added on players for eligibility purposes – by team or player
- If someone uploads an image of the scoresheet it can be viewed by Vieing the scoresheet and clicking the link in the pane in the bottom left hand corner.

Only captains and fixture secretaries can add scoresheets, you have to login to the website to add a scoresheet by clicking the login button in the top menu. This allows us to track who added the score sheet if there is a problem. Your username is in the format:
If you don’t know your password then there is a Lost your password? option on the login page, clicking this will e-mail you a link to reset your password. The website needs your correct e-mail address to send the link. If you don’t get the e-mail or know your username then e-mail me and I will sort it out – firstname.lastname@example.org.
So the website is a week old, few issues last week as expected, thank you for your feedback and patience. If for any reason from this point you are unable to add a scoresheet to the website then let me know or forward me a copy by e-mail and I will add, doesn’t take long. All known bugs fixed over the weekend, the biggest issue is where players have moved clubs since last year or are new and so don’t appear in the dropdown for the club.
The Add New player option in the dropdown now works, looking for the system to check the surname added against exiting players in the Db before adding so as to reduce duplicates, it might be that the player is in the Db but against a different club.
There is an issue where two sides from the same club play each other regards how it shows the scoresheet, this is being fixed today. We are looking to have the reminder e-mails to opposing captains going live this week.
Captains and fixture secretarys, your login is firstname.surname, if you don’t know your password, go to LOGIN and say Lost password? to get a new password e-mailed to you.
New user guide uploaded…
Quick tip: When adding the scores you can use the dropdown but I find it quicker to click on the first score box in the first rubber, ignore the dropdown and just type the value, then press tab to go to the next box. Keep pressing tab to cycle through all the score boxes. If the score is in the teens i.e. 12 then when you type 11 it goes to 10, hit 1 again and it goes to 11, 1 again it goes to 12 etc. If you have a scan of the scoresheet then please attach it.
So the new season starts 18th September, good luck to all the teams….
The website is undergoing final changes, this season sees a big change in score sheet submission.
Score sheets will be added directly to the website as opposed to being sent by e-mail. They can be added from the Fixtures/Results or Scoresheet page using drop down fields to select teams, players and scores. An image of the scoresheet can also be uploaded and then submitted. It is up to the winning team captain to submit the scoresheet within 7 days of the fixture being played. E-mail reminders will be sent out if nothing is uploaded within 2 days of the fixture date. The fixtures/Results page shows what fixtures should have been played and if a scoresheet has been uploaded. When the scoresheet has been submitted then an e-mail will go to the opposing captain asking for it to be confirmed. If the team captains do not respond within the timeframes allotted then e-mails will go to the fixture secretary as well.
Provided this is done then the league tables will automagically show current positions within each division. The website will also track player eligibility i.e. nominated players must play 1 of the first 3 matches for the relevant side and are only allowed to play up 3 times for mens/mixed and twice for ladies.
As this is the first season this website has been used then clubs are asked to retain original copies of the scoresheets as a backup to it all going horribly wrong!
Thanks for setting this up, Alan. You might need to be patient for a while with computer illiterates like me once the online scoresheet kicks in, but it’s looking good!
